klingt gut! 5th International Symposium on Sound

From May 12th to 15th, 2021, the 5th klingt gut! International Symposium on Sound will take place at the Art and Media Campus Hamburg and will offer an interface for (sound) art and technology. The cooperation with the TENOR 2020/21 Conference on Technologies for Music Notation and Representation from May 10th to 13th results in an extensive program of live performances, lectures and tutorials. Participation as a visitor this year is possible online.

The events will involve artists and scientists from 24 countries. In total, there will be over 80 presentations on media art, electroacoustic music and immersive sound production in workshops, lectures, roundtables and tutorials. With three contributions and performances from the field of sound & media art, Dong Zhou (PhD student/Leuphana) will also be performing at the event:

The TENOR Conference is hosted by Hochschule für Musik und Theater (HfMT). The Klingt gut Symposium is organized by Audio Engineering Society (North German Section) and Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg.
