The workshop took place on 10 December 2019 as part of the seminar “Sound, Space, Movement. Design of interactive sound objects and installations” took place. Nitay presented his project Drawbeat, which he presented at Klangstärke 18 in Hildesheim.
Programming with PD (Pure Data) – as seen in the background – proved to be very complex. Nitay, however, had no problem explaining his configuration in detail when asked.

Nitay will present his project Drawbeat, which he presented at Klangstärke 18 in Hildesheim.
Drawbeat is an installation in which sounds and beats are created on a graphics tablet by drawing figures and gestures. Gestures and sounds are visualized by moving geometric forms and projected onto a surface.
For us, it is about looking behind the scenes and seeing how installation, staging, program, and software have been worked on.
